Upcoming Tennessee Tourney

The Tennessee Open is a "mini" Nationals in my opinion. It is usually well attended, and many top players will be there. This year, the Masters and Majors will use clocks and will record and turn in their games. Also, ACF membership (current) will be required to enter and play. The ACF has contributed to this year's tourney. I have twelve clocks in my possession that belong to our ACF, and I will bring them along as well as score sheets for player use. All of this directs the ACF towards more professionalism.

Hopefully, the new "expanded" three-move deck will be available soon. When that occurs, all of the old decks will not be allowed for use in any ACF-sanctioned event. Use of the new deck also elevates our game in stature. It is time to move our ACF forward in 2004. All of us can and should do our part to make this happen. I look forward to seeing all of you soon in Tennessee. :-)

Sincerely:
Alan Millhone, President
