 Because this checker book was so very rare. This was an interesting story that my wife and I experienced many years ago while visiting at a friends place of business. "Checker Trivia" question of the Day"? What checker book do you think that could have been? "Mr. Checkers"

Mr. Checkers,
When you state 'hold", do mean to keep in one's possesion for a few days, or literally to hold in one's hands for a few moments....?.......
Either way, I cannot guess, as I know you had MANY extremely rare books in your posession !!!!
....can't wait to hear the story........
