Here are several examples of Selected Positions from the US Nt 2006 which became a part of of recently finished book. I hope you enjoy them.

Solutions.

#2. J. Scwartz vs L. Keen, Rd1, G4

7-10* is the only and pretty way to draw. In real game red played 6-9? and after 27-24 12-16 30-25* lost the game

#4. L. Keen vs R. King, Rd2, G2

Larry Keen played here 3-8? and lost after 11-7 due to the wrong move. Draw was close and pretty: 4-8* 11-4 2-7 Draw

#20. L. Keen vs E. Morrison, Rd5, G2

In the game red played 23-27? and lost after 32-23 12-16 23-19 16-23 26-19 3-7 28-24 8-12 21-17 13-22 15-10 6-15 19-3 12-16 3-8 16-20 24-19 20-24 14-10 24-27 10-7 2-11 8-15 27-32 19-16 32-27 15-19 1-5 16-11 5-9 11-7 9-13 19-23 27-32 18-14 WW

Draw was pretty: 3-7* 26-19 7-11 and white can
