This photo is from 1975, 1st USSR youth Championship (Russian Checkers). We played in city Tula.

Hard to beleive he's 16 years old there, isn't it Irma. I think it was about the time he started to grow that beard in the top picture, anyway I don't thinking he was shaving at that time.

yeaaa ... almost 40 years since then, and more than 45 years in business. Probably a right time to start writing memorables, but not all wytnesses yet passed away
