WALLABIES

Postby Danny_Alvarez on Sun Jul 24, 2011 4:24 am

I was very glad that the wallabies got their mojo back this week by spanking the southafrican springboks 39-20 :)

after losing to Samoa not so long ago this was refreshing.... Quade Cooper had a blinder of a game and so did Will Genia .... (both Queensland Red players :) )

Is anyone here going to watch the world cup in New Zealand??? it will be ELECTRIFYING !!!!

cheers

Tonight the Wallabies play the All Blacks at Eden Park, Auckland....
as many of my Kiwi friends delight in telling me... we haven't won there against the kiwis in 25 years...
Let's hope that the current Wallaby crop can put this HOODOO to rest....

the All Blacks are playing as a well oiled machine and i think they will be very very hard to beat in the world cup that will be in their home soil in just a matter of months...
they beat the wallabies 30-14 and it was a powerful display.... their forwards were just awesome.

If the wallabies can find consistency they will challenge for a place in the finals but at the moment they are either white-hot or blue-cold.... nothing in between.
cheers and congratulations to all my kiwi brethren :)

the winner of tonights clash between the All Blacks and the Wallabies at the hallowed ground of Suncorp Stadium (Brisbane Queensland)
will be crowned the TRI-NATIONS Cup winner plus almost surely the World Cup favourite...

Come on Aussie , Come on !!!!!! we havent won the tri nations in almost 10 years :(
it's our time, its our turn.... i hope the all blacks know that.... although the rainy weather that we have tonight suits them and not us

cheers

I was soooooo proud last night..... we were leading 20-3 at one stage and then they got back up to 20 all at the middle of the second half.....but the wallabies held their nerve.
cheers
