10. 10x17 ....................Here taking the jump the wrong way...........9x18 draws.

Tommy, how does 10x17 lose? Kingsrow does not find a loss there.

It finds the losing move to be 25. 11-15. Instead 22-17 is the move to draw. However, 25. .. 14-10 allows red to draw; the winning move was 6-10. Continuing, 26. 15-19 is a red loss; 12-16 or 22-17 draw. But..., the very next move 26. .. 10-7 is a draw; 6-1 is the only move for white to win. On to move 29. 12-16 is a loss; 15-11 is the only red move to draw. The rest of the game is a white win.

Yes Ed......i agree i may have run a different position,in error. Either jump draws.
Always read "Cannings Compilation 2nd Edition" every day.
