Notes: (by Ingo Zachos)

(A):
A new move that apparently took Alex by surprise that thought more then 30 minutes about his response.

(B):
By some coincidence back into a Laverty - Lafferty game, 1993 US nationals

(C):
Lafferty played 17. ... 22-17 and later drew

"The Lafferty line might have continued...................11-15, 30-25/3026, 15-24, 28-19, 8-11, 22-17, 11-15, 32-28, 15-24,
28-19, .........and red must pitch a man down now or later?.......begs the question is the 3-8 line of any good." (Tommy Canning)

Good enough to draw against two World Champions, but there are better moves, no question.
