"Ryan's Checkergram"--Ashland, Illinois--answer

Willie was visiting friends in Ashland, Illinois around 1929. He had been doing extensive work with his book--"Checkergram". In the January 1930 issue of it there are 3 unsigned drawings which were done by one of his friends in Ashland as I recall. "Checker Trivia question of the Day". Who was the artist that did these three drawings? (Cont.)
