My first game against Alex

Postby Jason Solan on Sat Oct 03, 2009 12:22 pm

I was going through some old stuff today and came across the games I recorded at my first tournament, the 2003 Pa State Tournament.
In my first game I ever played against Alex I managed to get a draw (probably the first and only one I'll get).
After the game Alex said he missed a win. He then gave me a quote that always stuck with me.
At one point in the game he saw 2 possible wins and he said "Whenever I see 2 wins, most likely one of them is a draw."

Anyway I thought I'd share the game here.

Jason, this is sort of Murphy law. it is also apply well to situation when you see two possible draws in weak position
I am playing checkers, not chess.
