"Ohio St. Ck. Ty.--answer

 "A picture is worth a thousand words". We have all heard of this saying. Last year I received in the mails a $65 fine for not coming to a complete stop before turning right on a red light. As many of us do I just paused and then turned right. The cameras (which I did not see) were mounted on top of the traffic lights and they caught this all on film. Now I am wondering since John's pictures show only one table using a clock if the ACF will be issuing out fines by mail (after reviewing the films of course) to those who did not use clocks during this years Ohio State Checker Tournament???? As I recall that is an automatic $100 ACF fine. And now on a more serious note here is our official "Checker Trivia" question of the Day"? John's pictures show only one table with a clock (I don't know whether they were using it or not). Also on that same table was a unique piece of checker history. "Checker Trivia" question of the Day"? What was it and what makes it a unique piece of checker history? (Cont.)

I believe I see this piece of checker history in another picture also.

Palomino I checked back through John's pictures and found that it was obviously visible only on the one of two pictures. On the other it was partially visible--assuming we are talking about the same thing, which I think we are. I will have "Inky" check it out--he has better eyes than I do. (Cont.)

I see a clock in the 9th picture, Tony Kozenski is playing Louis Cowie and they are playing with (Louis Cowie's) TOURNAMENT CHECKERS these checker sets were made in 1975 and I believe they were the only checker sets to ever have the American Checker Federation name on the box.
