"From Payne's to Moiseyev's "6th"--answer

250 years of checker books written in the English language--thats a lot of books. One may wonder how many checker books were written over those 250 years. Good question!! So lets take a good look at that. "Checker Trivia question of the Day". Of the following choices which do you think best reflects the number of checker books written in the English language over the past 250 years. (1) 250-300, (2) 300-350, (3) 350-400, (4) 400-450 (5) 450-500 (6) 500-550 (7) 550-600) (8) 600-650 (9) 650-700 (10) other. (Different editions or printings of the same text of a book only count as one book--i.e. Wiswell's Lets Play Checkers has several editions; plus is comes in HB and PB, but the text is the same so count it as one book only). Ok, I'll take a guess.

A. 250-300
B. 300-350
C. 350-400
D. 400-450
E. 450-500
F. 500-550
G. 550-600
H. 600-650
I. 650-700
J. other

I think the number is 500 so if you are counting "The Checker Playing Hound Dog" by Joe Hayes I'm guessing the answer is F. 500-550 but if you are not counting "The Checker Playing Hound Dog" by Joe Hayes, I'm guessing answer the is E. 450-500 Hmmm, and then again :?: I think SIXTH by Alex Moiseyev will put the number over 500, so I'm going with answer F. 500-550 there, that's my final answer :!:

Regards, "Pal" Bucker

I'm now wondering what number others will guess.
