This was one of the very best checker books according to my dear friend Tommy Wiswell who highly recommended it and it was always on our top 20 list of books that serious checker players wanted to buy. On the outside front cover of the book there was embossed in gold a checkerboard with checkers on it, which looked nice. But it was soon discovered that there was a problem with this checkerboard on the covers of many of the books. "Checker Trivia" What was that problem? (cont.)
