Here are several interesting moments.

#1. A. Moiseyev vs M. Ross, Rd1, G1.

24-20* 15x24, 22-18*, 14-17, 18-14*, 10-15, 23-19*, 15-18, 19-15 - Draw ! Not very complicated but pretty and well done by Mike.

#2. A. Moiseyev vs A. Fuqway, Rd2, G1

Draw was there 23-18, but my opponent played 32-28? and lost after 7-10*, 31-26, 2-7 (10-14 also wins), 23-19, 5-9 etc, Red Wins. Game actually continued many moves after this, where my opponent forced me to demonstrate skills to win man up ending!

#3. A. Fuqway vs A. Moiseyev, Rd2, G2

Red to move and draw

Both sides still have 11 pieces on the board but red position is critical now (see diagram #2). it was necessary little bit clean the board here by triple trade 13-17 x 6-9 etc White better. Instead my opponent played here 11-16 which already seems to be a loss.

#4. A. Moiseyev vs T. Stanley, Rd3, G2

17-14 - draw but Teal played 28-24? and lost after 4-8, 24-20, 8-11, 25-22, 5-9, 17-13, 9-14, 22-17, 14-18, 23x13, 16x23, 27-x18, 10-15 Red Wins

#5. A. Moiseyev vs J. Morrison, Rd4, G1

Red to move, white draw

Interesting position which ended with draw. During and after the game I though red should have a win here. After the game I thought I missed a win. Not at all ! The program confirms that somehow magically white has a draw here against any red attack. I let you to explore this on your own, analyze and enjoy !

#6. J. Morrison vs A. Moiseyev, Rd5, g2

Only 14-18* here drew the game. 3-8? (as played in the game) or 15-18 loses.

#7. A. Moiseyev vs M. Holmes

White to move and draw.

Interesting position. White looks almost OK, but ... not quite! After long deep analyzing with program I can confirm very interesting fact: it appears like 26-23 is the only scientific way for white. Michael played here 24-20? which seems to be a loss.

After 24-20 game continued: 8-12, 32-27, 6-10, 14-9, 10-14, 27-24, 14x23, 26x10, 7x14 ... see diagram #7A. Alot of possibilities for white and ... no draw! Red Wins

#8 M. Holmes vs A. Moiseyev, Rd5, G2

Red to move and draw.

Couple moves before I called a draw but Michael felt that in this position he still has some edge. 11-16 immediately drew the game, but Michael played 2-6? and lost after 22-18, 13-17, 24-19, 6-10, 19-15, 10x19, 23x16, 12x19, 26-22, 17x26, 30x16 White Wins

#8. J. Webster vs A. Moiseyev, Rd6, G1

Red to move

See diagram #8. 1-6 is OK here as played in the next game, but John picked an extravagant 11-16?! and after 18x11, 16-20, 31-27, 7x16, 22-17 we reached position on diagram #8A

#8A. Red to move and draw.

10-15* the only draw

Should I say that 10-15* is the only draw ? John played9-14? and lost after 23-19, 16x23, 26x19 etc White Wins

#9. A. Moiseyev vs J. Webster, Rd6, G2

White to move and draw.

Another mid game Masterpiece. The only draw here is 26-22, 6-9, 27-24*, 16-20, 30-26, 20x27, 19-15 white can drew it with care. Anything else loses. John tried 30-25? and game continued: 6-9, 19-15, 10x19, 25-22, 9-14, 18x9, 5x14, 22-18, 13-17*, 18x9, 17-22, 26x17, 19x26 and White man on 27 is jeopardies !

#10. T. Laverty vs A. Moiseyev, Rd7, G1

12-16? loses

After the game I recommended Tim 18-23 as draw. Kingsrow also shows 8-11 as even. Instead, Tim played 12-16? and lost after 24-20, 8-11, 15x8, 4x11, 30-26, 6-10, 26-23, 18x27, 32x23, 2-6, 25-22, 10-15, 31-27 White Wins

Thanks, Bill ! I corrected diagram in original text and position in my game with J. Morrison was replaced.

Human is human ... I was 100% confident during the game that there should be some win for red and I just missed a win ... not at all ! Beautiful mid-game masterpiece.

Almost in each game there is something interesting. All people should record their games and analyze them later or at least - publish.

Thanks again for correction.
