Favorite Tournament Games

A couple months back someone on the BBS asked everyone to post their favorite tournament game they have played. I would like to re-ask the question, and post my personal favorite game.

My choice is a game from the 2005 Tennessee State Tournament J. Chappell vs. J. Morrison which I lost. I choose this game for three reasons, one Jim is the only grandmaster I've had the privilege of playing (I drew him early, I'm usually too far behind to play the strongest players), two this game shows exactly how critical checkers can be, I made one weak move in the mid-game, then played nearly perfect according to Kingsrow, but in endgame one bad move which lost. Last, this was the longest game I've ever played; this single game lasted the entire round.

On move 14 my 19-16 was defiantly not as strong as the 6-10 PP I spent the rest of the game on defense because of it, and on move 47, my 14-17 lost. I'm usualy in a loss by move 20, was glad to make it to 47 this game :)
