Reminder for Bids for 2007 National and WCDF events

Bids for the ACF 2007 GAYP National and Youth Tournament will be accepted through December 31, 2006. National tournament runs Monday through Friday, with the youth tournament taking place the preceding weekend. Please enclose a synopsis that includes hotel accommodations and rates, amount of bid, airport and bus station information, nearby attractions (as applicable), etc. to Alan Millhone, PO Box 1 Belpre, OH 45714, or by e-mail (millhone@wirefire.com).

Also, I received the following from John Reade, WCDF Secretary -- their call for bids applies to any federation willing to set up the accommodations

1. From Section 5 Bids are invited to host the following 4 events in 2006, 2007.

(i) Morrison v King WCM (GAYP) to be played before 31 December 2006.

(ii) Durdyeva v Breen WCM (3 Move) to be played in 2007.

(iii) Moiseyev v Winner of QT. (3 Move) to be played in 2007.

(iv) GAYP Qualifiers 2007

2. From Section 9 The closing date for bids to host 2007 events was set at 1 October 2006.

The time has come to think seriously about making bids to host the 2007 events. (Men's and Women's 3 Move Challenge Matches, and the GAYP Qualifiers.)

Please make this matter a special priority in the next few days and respond if you possibly can.

i just wanted to let everyone know that i have had a few donations,like Alan $100.00,Dr.Beckwith $100.00,me $100.00,plus a few from small bussiness around my home town.But it is not enough for to make a bid for the next national or for the Youth,Mens,Womans Qualifier.I have close to $500.00 total.

I would like to know if any of you would like to see it here in the USA,if so any donation would be welcome.

Let's try and work together we have a great US Team,and i think it would be great to see it here.Plus to see our young Youth be able to play in a Qualifier.Because they are our future.
