hi all,
I spoke with Dennis Welch today and he faxed me some information on this tournament.I want to pass it on to you all.

This will be the 1st Oma and Noma Days Festival at Bagnell Dam on Sept 29th threw Oct 1st,2006.

There are many events taking place this weekend.(I will mention a few)

Craft Shows
Auto Show

Checker Tourney (open to all) registration @ 9am play time at 10am

There is many shops and activities for the whole family.

plus dog show
talent show
music
peanut spitting contest

This is only a few things but will hope this will help encourage people to come play checkers, even the kids.

I have also info on hotels in fact a list.

I will be there hope to see some of you.

Plus this will be on our local radio station.
