The OCL library ( http://www.checkersusa.com/books/ ) just had its 100,000 visit, but Straight Checkers players are few and in between, and they never ever say a word there.

Jake, congratulations on the 100,000 milestone for the OCL. It is great to go back in time, even to 1756 with William Payne's first checker book in English.
The books span many decades, from Payne to Pask! The magazine collections are superb! Thanx for the OCL, the place to go to discover the
world history and the great grandmasters of checkers!

its currently at 167,000. Unfortunately my efforts to engage players into conversations there miserably failed, most would not even sign the Guestbook.

The visitor count is over 185,000 now.
I still find a book/two on straight checkers on my own, the great flow of anticipated books from England, Ireland and Scotland never materialized.
Incidentally, I tried to send some books via the post office, they asked more for shipping than the books worth, I just declined, one thing to share your property but to pay for that too seems unfair. Sharing virtually seems more and more as best idea
