Jake,
Look at the number of posts and the number of views on this topic about your library. You have captured the interest of a lot of reticent players.
How long have you been collecting the entertaining pictures?

How long have you been collecting the entertaining pictures?

I was never a collector, books or pictures, whenever I saw a picture I liked I just saved it to enjoy again later, not much caring where I found them.
The idea to post them in the library came from a picture sent to me of the new ICHF (it was presented as such) and my thought that few people have seen the original ICHF. So I scanned some photos taken in Petal (and I am not a good photographer) to pay tribute to Charles Walker's dream house.
The pictures in the first 15 rooms are organized in some fashion, there are plenty more left behind. As with books I hope players will join in and start sending interesting pictures to share.

This picture is forty years old and is probably posted on many sites. As such it is public domain. If I knew it was already posted on usacheckers I would not have posted it

Mr. Reagan apparently advocated playing with black and red checkers and the black double corner on the left.

Obviously a photo-op, someone set checkers for them, all three posing, done all the time.

Someone sent me 1996 King-Lafferty match PDN and the games looked very different from those I obtained in the Aurora database.
The new PDN games looked totally legit and I put them to replace the ones on site.
This makes me worry - are other matches correct?
Can I ask for assistance validating other matches?

Could someone help me out here please?

When I go to the straight checkers link and try to create a new user ID I get the 404 error.

How can this be avoided ? has anyone else came across the same problem ?

Thanks

William
